In 1966, the world was amazed by the appearance of two Leonardo da Vinci manuscripts at the National Library of Spain. One of the most important and intriguing of da Vinci's surviving works was now on display. An exquisite visit to a future world encapsulated in the strokes and sketches of the incredible mind of an absolute genius of humanity. This work, featuring more than 200 illustrations, is made up of two parts, divided into: Codex I, a work focused on the principles of mechanics and their uses; and Codex II, consisting of aspects related to civil and military engineering, in addition to studies of slingshots, bird flight, musical instruments and maps.
